Coach Jad Ramsay

Coach Jan Hejda

As a 10-year alumni of the NHL and with a 19-year pro career where Jan played with the Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Colorado Avalanche.
Jan also played for his home country of Czech Republic in many events such as World Juniors, World Championships where Jan won gold and silver medals, and the Olympics.
Jan has spent many years with the youth hockey developmental programs in Colorado and Minnesota.  He moved to Illinois in the summer of 2023 to promote DZone hockey in Chicago area.

Jad played both college and semi-pro hockey where he won a championship with the Orlando Seals. From there he moved on to a scouting career and was as both an armature and pro scout.  Ramsay started with the New York Islanders and then moved on to the Chicago Blackhawks where he was a part of two Stanley Cup Championships.
Most recently Ramsay was the head Hockey Coach for the Tier1 AAA U14 N.E.W. Junior Gamblers and lead them to the national championships where they finished 3rd overall in the nation.
